Bangkok – Khao Yai Tour January 2015

Day 1 Welcome Diner / Day 2 Golf at Muang Kaew

In January 2015 Coco Golf Hosted the Bangkok – Khao Yai Golf Tour. This Tour seen 12 Golfers from abroad travel to Thailand to experience some of the busy Bangkok City and the very quiet and peaceful country town of Khao Yai.
On Day 1 guests were picked up from Bangkok airport and checked into the luxurious Chaophya Park hotel were Coco Golf hosted the welcome dinner. The next morning was the first round of Golf at the Muang Kaew Golf Club in Bangkok. This course is one of Bangkoks finest and was in perfect condition. Wildlife was flowing abundantly with plenty of native birds and even large monitor Lizards spotted crossing the fairways. Great scores were had by all and a great start to the tour!
Later that evening the Coco Golf Mini bus escorted our guests to Bangkoks busy Pad Pong Market where they enjoyed a mix of shopping and drinks at the bars.

Day 3 Drive to Khao Yai / Day 4 Golf at Khao Yai Golf Club

Set away from the busy main roads of the city, The Chaophya Park Hotel is a great place to Relax while in Bangkok. On the morning of Day 3 some of our guests enjoyed a swim in the pool and made use of great gym facilities followed by a beautiful Buffett breakfast.
We checked at 11.30am for a leisurely drive to Khao Yai arriving at the Balios Hotel and a meal together at a Local Steak House.
Khao Yai is a great destination if you are wanting to disconnect from the fast paced busy life and spend time relaxing and enjoying some great golf.
Our first round in Khao Yai was at the Khao Yai Golf Club and conditions were perfect. Our guests commented on the quality of the course in particular the greens and the overall picturesque mountain views. A great day had by all.
Later that evening we enjoyed a delicious meal a small restaurant called the Witches Brew which had a menu of Authentic Thai and western dishes.

Day 5 Day of Lesuire - Diner at Vino / Day 6 Khao Yai National Park

No Golf was scheduled on Day 5 but a couple of the guys decided to head to one of the Local Golf Clubs for an extra round, all transport was taken care of by our great driver Ched in the Coco mini bus. The others relaxed by the pool at the Hotel and strolled the Palio Village Market. Later that evening we dined in style at The beautiful Italian Vino Restaurant. Fine wine was on the menu and some soulful Jazz performed by a duo.
The next day was a big adventure at the Khao Yai National Park. Our tour guide took us through winding foot trails to explore monkeys and birds. Wild Elephants and Gibbons were roaming through the Park and heard only meters away as the tour guide kept us in a safe zone. Parts of the tour took us to where the forest opened up to magnificent landscapes and breathtaking mountain views. A stop for lunch along the way. This was truly a special journey experienced by all.

Day 7 Exclusive Access to Private Golf Course

Day 7 was a real special treat. A private Golf Course hidden away in the valleys of Khao Yai had given Coco Golf Exclusive Access for the day.
Amazing mountain views and scenery and a pristine Golf Course and the round of Golf accompanied by some outstanding Caddies this was a Royal treatment for a guests. Check out the pictures to see for yourself.

Day 8 Mountain creek

Waking up at the Balios Hotel every morning was always a treat. The beautiful smiles and greeting of the friendly staff and the wide range of tasty food at the Buffett breakfast was always a great start to the day. Day 8 we headed to the Magnificent Mountain Creek Golf Course. The first thing I noticed about this course was the abundance of space. The exquisitely designed club house had huge lookout points extending across the whole building overlooking the fairways. A great place to dine and enjoy a beer after the round of Golf. The course itself was in great shape and offered a great variety of challenges keeping things interesting the whole way through.

Day 9 Day of Leausire / Day 10 & 11 Golf at Rancho Charnvee Country Club

A couple of the boys decided to go for another round of Golf on the Day off which was arranged by Coco Golf and transport all catered for.
The rest of the group enjoyed the Hotel Facilities and a stroll through the Palio Market next door. That evening the Hotel invited us to their annual Party with Live Entertainment and complimentary food and drinks.
Day 10 was time to experience Thailand Golf Tours at its finest! The ever popular Rancho Charnvee, an Epic Golf Course with a unique landscape.
Driving in the first thing you notice is the huge Lake with a massive boat nestled in the centre of the Course. Rancho was rated the best course of the Tour by the Majority of the group. The caddies were full of smiles and helpful information for the golfers and great scores were performed by all on the day.
Day 11 Everyone was happy and buzzing ready to return for another round at Rancho Charnvee!

Day 12 Bangkok Adventure Tour and Farewell Dinner

After the last round at Rancho Charnvee The Coco Golf Mini Busses escorted the group back to the Chaophya Park Hotel in Bangkok where we spent 2 nights. The Saturday we enjoyed a tour of Bangkok’s Temples complete with history talk given by an experienced Tour guide along the way. A beautiful boat ride through the Bangkok river past traditional Thai Houses, Temples and Floating Market. Later that night we met for Dinner at the Lovely Chaophya Park Restaurant for a Farewell Dinner, Simon gave out Awards to the high scoring Golfers of the Tour.
